Question : WHY IS IT THAT ONLY INDIAN 'FAST' BOWLERS LOSE THEIR PACE AND PLACE IN A SEASON OR TWO? WHILE FAST BOWLERS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES (LIKE PAKISTAN) KEEP GETTING BETTER AND QUICKER AND SHARPER WITH EXPERIENCE, ONLY IN TH CASE OF INDIAN FAST BOWLERS THE OPPOSITE SEEMS TO HAPPEN. WHY?
Answer: In my opinion it is the schedule of matches they play, the reason for this pace cut. Now lets take an example , if Now Ishant is a part of Indian Test team , he will also take part in practice games during test series. After that he will play in both t20 and odi series ( normally 5 odis ). After returning to India there is IPL ( Money Machine )Nearly 16 matches. How much a bowler can push his body in this tight schedule and on these non responsive tracks. On the other hand foreigners planned their schedule in proper way.
Question : Line and length are the key factors behind the success of any fast bowler. Mc. Grath is a great example. Why so many fast bowlers around the world are not successful at developing this paricular skill?
Answer: The main reason for his success is his bowling action and flowing run. Some other bowlers with same skills like Pollock and Munaf patel are also successful, its not only mcgrath and also he has the reputation of being accurate thats why batsman always feel that every ball will be on line so he sometimes try to premediate and one who premediate in cricket has greater chances of faltering.
Question : Even in T-20 cricket, technically-correct batsmen and good line and length bowlers have performed better than slam bangers and bowlers who are inconsistent in their line and length. What is your opinion?
Answer: Only one line answer....Form is temporary and class is permanent

Question : Everybody says that T20 is a game of batsmen. And only fast lethal bowlers can survive the onslaught. But why the spinners have played the major role in the short history of T20 ?
Answer: I think that it is because of the pressure on batsman to score more runs in the over of spinners.....That result in premediated shots.....
Question : Many star players after retirement from international cricket opts for club cricket like Gilchrist , Warne , Langer and many others. If they can play there then why not for their country. If answer is less pressure then this mean that club cricket is not so competitive.
Answer: Harsha sir has made a good point that they can motivate themselves for 3 hrs.......but i want to say that if Shane warne can bowl 4 overs in pressure then why not in test cricket because he will have loads of opportunity there and can try different things .because will not be that much in attacking mood
Question : Many star players after retirement from international cricket opts for club cricket like Gilchrist , Warne , Langer and many others. If they can play there then why not for their country. If answer is less pressure then this mean that club cricket is not so competitive.

Answer: But sahil i just waana ask u one question...if u say that they dont want to spend free time thats why they play....so why not that time for ur country....if schedule is tight then u can choose to play only in important tours....
Question : Many star players after retirement from international cricket opts for club cricket like Gilchrist , Warne , Langer and many others. If they can play there then why not for their country. If answer is less pressure then this mean that club cricket is not so competitive.
Answer: Also if they tour only important ones....this will keep them fit , fresh and hungry for me...Not a bad idea...isnt it?
Question : Sachin made 175 and we still lost the ODI. One of the reason is the risky shot he played and got out. Is it not that the responsibility of the in-form batsman on the given day and in a given match that he should carry the team through to the possible victory?
Answer: 350 was the target and he made 175, first field for 50 overs and then bat for almost 45 overs,Its more than enough from him and u cant expect more than this.
Question : who will be the next sachin in our team..??i mean who will lead the role as sachin in future after him...???
Answer: If Sachin can be found so easily then we would have five or six Sachins. He is one in a century type of crickter.
Question : If cricketers struggling with their form & poor performance in international cricket for a long time, do you think concentration on domestic cricket alone can help the players to regain their form and improve performance? If not, what could be the other way?
Answer: If any player is struggling with form , Captain and coach should encourage him and should recall his good performances to increase his confidence level. He shouldnt be hide in tough situation because confidence can be gained only in the middle not in the pavillion and if he still struggles then domestic cricket is the ultimate platform to do the basics right.
Question : why do we see a lot difference in mentality when India plays against Pakistan and same when it plays against Australia
Answer: Actually, intensity level depends on your position against opponent. India knows it is better team than pakistan thats why they try to dominate them whereas against Australia it is just opposite.
Question : Which one do you think be the better way to judge the world champions in Cricket (i) Based on the performance in ODI world Cup tournaments alone once in every four years (ii) Based on the overall performance in Test matches among the countries for at least once in every 2 to 4 years or (iii) Both (i) & (ii) above.
Answer: World champions are the king. They dominate the world cricket and it can be measured by taking both odis and test performances into account.T20 should not be included because second best team can win in this format.
Question : Generally for the home series, the ICC can only issue guidelines for making pitches and it is the responsibility of the home board for pitch preparation. Many times, it could be the main reason, why pitches are not so result oriented especially in the Indian subcontinent. My question is, instead of issuing guidelines, do you think ICC has to take responsibility and having full control on pitch preparation so that we can able to make the matches more result oriented? What are your comments?
Answer: ICC also responsible for this. Well if you are talking about result than it depends on Teams capability than pitch. You have to play acc. to the wicket to win test matches and have to show positive signs which are very much there in Australia and South Africa.
Question : can dhoni become the good captain from test, ODI and T20 while comparing to all legends captain like ricky ponting, steve waugh or ganguly? give your comment on this.
Answer: Yes surely he can. At the end they all are human beings but the factor which distinguished them from other captains is their captaincy skills in adverse situation. Look at Ganguly, He took an ordinary team from bottom to top whereas Dhonis men fail to bear the pressure of being world T20 champions. They dont even won a single match in second round of T20 world cup. These type of situations are real tests for skillful captains noit the one in which team is easy going.
Question : Australia spin legend Shane Warne feels Test cricket will soon be history if the ICC and major cricketing boards fail to take proactive steps to promote the five-day game and save it from extinction.do you agree with this sentense?
Answer: Yes, I agree with this. ICC need serious attention towards Tests .We dont want to loose this ultimate form of cricket in the hype of T20. So ICC should try to change its attitude towards Tests and Result oriented Tests should be encouraged. Dull Draws are not going to help this cause.
Question : WHO is the best spinner among following players? 1.Anil Kumble 2.Shane Warne 3.Muttiah Muralitharan 4.Daniel Vettori 5.Harbajan Singh
Answer: This is just unanswerable question because every one is different from each other in many aspects . kumble is top spinner , shane warne is a wrist spinner , No one can bend his wrist like murali , harbhajan is just finger spinner depends on flight and Vettori is a left arm bowler who depends on line and length and pace at which he bowls because he is not a big turner of the ball. They cant be compared at all.
Question : In day/night ODI cricket matches, team batting second gets the worst of the conditions. Because, one team gets to bat in standard natural daylight, while the other team in a combination of shadowy and under flood lights conditions. If the same game would have been played as Day match, then Do you think that the out come of the games is different? What are your comments?
Answer: Its not always unfavourable for team batting second sometimes it act as a positive move because of the dew factor in the eveining . Bowlers find it difficult to grip the bowl and ball also come nicely on to the bat because it skids of the surface. So both aspects have pros and cons that what make this game interesting.
Question : is the on ground performance of any great cricketer is the sole parameter in judgung his genius as a cricketer?? shouldnt his off-field activities too should be taken into account cause he is a role model of millions of youngsters and representative of his country?? both sachin tendulkar and shane warne are genius but thers a difference in their way of conduct off the field.shane warne has been involved in too many unmentionable controversies where as sachin has manged to keep his image clean..do great and famous sportstars realise their responsibility towards society?
Answer: I think that this part of players life should not be publicised . Because as long as he is playing good on the field it doesnt matter what he does in his personal life. Everyone has his own ways of managing his life. Some people are good at that and some not but this doesnt mean that we should attach his off field image with his game.
Question : India have recorded 3 big match wins & drawn 3 matches out 6 matches played in 2009 but lost no single match. As far test cricket is concerned, Can we say that this year is most successful year for Indian cricket team in the Indian cricket history?
Answer: Yes you can say that from stats point of view but 6 matches are too few to analyse and India havnt beat Aus and SA in their own backyard. That will be their real test.
Question : New zealand hs produced some great cricketers but still they havent performed according to their capability at International level . What could be the reason for that ?
Answer: The main reason could be that they always win games as a team performance. They dont rely on star players and work hard as a team to win matches but you also require some extra skills to be competent at the highest level.
Question : Dont you think that ICC should allow 2 teams per country to represent in interntional cricket because it will increase the competition. Now only 4 or 5 teams are competitive enough and every country has enough talent to form 2 great teams. That will be interesting.
Answer: that will be interesting because playing with teams like bangladesh and zimbawe is not going to popularise this sport.By forming two teams more talented players will get opportunity to show talent at international level and level of game will rise.
Question : The IPL teams are only playing T20s.How will it be if they play a Test championship and ODI championship?Won’t it be interesting if the players of different nations will play ODIs and Tests together as a team? Please share your views.
Answer: It is a good idea but practically it is not possible. There is already so much confusion for IPL T20 window so you can imagine that how can they organise test of 5 days .
Question : Should the ball tempering be made legal, removing the stigma attached, if its a necessity, to achieve swing?
Answer: Well I dont agree with this. Because this is not in favour of game. Teams will indulge in wrong activities for their own benefit and standard of game will dip.So I think that this must be dealt strictly for pure game of cricket.
Question : Gramme swannn was one of the chief destructor in seam friendly south african pitches for england. He was highly successful aginst the same southafrican batting line up..Why do you think the likes of bhajji who is much experienced and world class spinner looked spineless and unfortunately for india never look threating enough. What do you think
Answer: I think quick wicket has supported Swann rather than discouraging him.Spinners always like quick turn and bounce but in nagpur there was turn but not at beatable pace and batsmen got time to negotiate the slow turn by playing on backfoot. This is the prime reason for failure of both bhajji and mishra and to add woes there was also some top class batting on the other side.
Question : Swing bowling on sub-continental pitches, except for reverse swing, is a pretty rare commodity. Dale Steyn revived the hopes of numerous swing bowlers with his excellent display against India. It's a shot in the arm for the wonderful art. What do you say?
Answer: Well I think that it depends on the seam position of a fast bowler.Dale has one of the best seam positions and when you add speed of monster with it than it is lethal for any world class batsman.
Question : JP duminy has not performed well since his success in australia but still south africa is giving him so many chances. Why is it so?Is there something special in him?
Answer: Well you have to admit it that he is special talent. He is a good batsman and can bowl a crucial spell. he also provide the option of second spinner which is always a problem for sa.So he is deserve his place in side and it is just confidence level which is missing right now.
