A. There is no general remedy to counter the reverse swing. Batsmen who have the ability to pick the length early and can play late are more likely to be successful to deal with reverse swing. When the batsman is late on his shot, reverse swing can prove fatal. That’s the mistake our batsmen made in the first test. They failed to stick to the basics of watching the ball closely and playing it late.

A. A Good EYE, watching the ball in the bowlers hand and lightning quick reaction time to make up your mind which side the shine is and hows the bowler holding the seam. Mind you, a batsman doesnt have much to think in the middle and not much time to recover after committed to play for the swing and suddenly finding out that the ball is reversing. So I dont think there is any special technique required to play the reverse swing, but to go back to basics and watch the ball.
