QUESTION OF THE DAY
Players like Sachin, Ponting etc., have retired from international T20 cricket in order to prolong their career in other format(s). But they have opted to play for other leagues say IPL. The quantum of matches in IPL is huge when compared to international T20 matches in a calendar year. My question is why did they retire from international cricket and opted to play for other leagues when the quality of cricket, the performance level and the commitment of players are same in international or league cricket. So, in what way we can justify their decisions.
