Should Pragyan Ojha get a chance at Jaipur?

Everyday is a new day, every match is a new match, and every moment can be a game changing moment! Ojha has been one of the pioneers of T20 cricket, especially in the Indian backyard and keeping in mine, Bhajji's indifferent form with the ball, he is a automatic selection for the final playing 11. He is a wicked bowler and can pick up wickets as well as put brakes on the scoring rate at any point of time in the match! He is a left arm spinner that adds diversity to the MI bowling line up! Watson v/s Ojha= Mouthwatering!

Answered By Sammya Brata Mullick

As there are more right-handed batsmen in Rajasthan Roylas a left arm spinner like Ojha would certainly prove to be more beneficial at Jaipur pitch. He is a wicket taker bowler and not to forget was purple cap winner in 2010 IPL. He can like Narine and Ashwin can bemuse the batsmen with his guile and variation. Ojha can prove to be a match-winner and can control the flow of runs, with his height, can vary his line and length and even get good bounce, he should certainly be played at Jaipur.

Yes, Harbhajan not bowling his full quota of overs and very expensive compared to ojha. And also managed to pick only 6 wickets from 15 matches he has played for Team Mumbai. Now a days world class captains like Sanga and Daniel dropping themselves from the team. Harbhajan should also do like that. Team management is should take a harsh call on him.

Answered By Manobala

When I write, Ojha is not included in the team. Bhajji has decided to go with only one spinner-himself. Ojha, the young left arm spinner is known for his ability to flight the ball is a player of great international repute. He was the leading wicket-taker in the 2010 edition of the IPL, with 21 wickets.

Answered By Amarish B Nagori

With IPL coming to close on pitches at most places like Jaipur, Chennai and Pune, pitches are becoming slower and spinners have proved to be very helpful. Pragyaan being a slow left arm orthodox spinners would prove to be very helpful. He should be given a chance over Smith. It is easy to hit pacers on these pitches but difficult to hit a spinners on these pitches. At Pune KKR won the match only on the strength of spinners. Looking to strength of spinners KKR are favorite to win IPL. Mumbai Indians should innovate now and include Ojha in playing eleven, if want to defeat royals. Further though Harbhajan is captain but have failed both as a batsman and bowler, and a spinner in form is needed in team.
